For a ferry segment joining a named route, the editor must assign the connection with the route name. e editor should note that not all ferry segments have route names, and if the route name terminates at one of the access points, then another route name may begin at the other end of the ferry segment's access point if the ferry segment connects to another highway or other thoroughfare.
