Happy New Year! Discover the latest enhancements and updates to ArcGIS Online that were announced in December 2021. We’ve created a list for K-12 teachers and students to explore.
In December, ArcGIS Online was updated. Here are a few highlights for K-12 educators and students:
- Map Viewer: Earlier in 2021, the new Map Viewer came out of beta and has been evolving, introducing many new features and capabilities. Map Viewer has been enhanced with new capabilities and features: creative visualizations, new Arcade elements, HTML can now be displayed and edited in pop-ups, 160 new colour ramps, add GeoJSON layers, sketch layers, label enhancements, and more.
Try the latest features in the Map Viewer.
- Scene Viewer: You can now create an app directly in the 3D Scene Viewer.
- ArcGIS Dashboards: The Table element is now available, allowing you to visualize your data in a more granular way. A new layout panel allows you to view and manage your dashboard’s layout more easily.
- Sharing and collaboration: Layer status information displays which layers are badged as authoritative or deprecated.
