Yes, it’s that time again – ArcGIS Online has been updated! This update includes enhancements to the Item Details page. Each item that you have created in ArcGIS Online will have its own Item Details page. Items could be web maps, feature layers and web applications.

The Items Details page in ArcGIS Online has been updated with a new look.

Here are six changes you should know about that will help you manage your content in ArcGIS Online:

  1. The Item Details page has a new look and layout
The changes to this page will make it easier for you to manage and monitor your content
  2. The ability to edit the Overview page of your content.
Changes to the Overview page allow you to alter the description, title, tags and credit information of your content.
  3. A Data* tab is now present on the Item Details page
Save time by using this tab when you’re managing your feature layers. You can quickly and easily view, edit and sort attribute data from the Item Details page without opening the Map Viewer.
  4. A Visualization* tab is now available on the Item Details page

  6. A Settings tab is now on the Item Details page
