Esri Canada Webinars

The ArcGIS Enterprise Security Model
April 19, 1 – 2 pm (EST)
The ArcGIS Enterprise security model provides many options for defining who can access the system and the privileges those users have. Whether you choose to use the built-in user store or need a single sign-on, it is important to configure the right security options for your organization’s needs. In this session, we will discuss the basic concepts of the ArcGIS Enterprise security model, as well as more advanced topics like SAML and single-sign on.  Attendees will learn how to add users, define roles and manage access to content. We will also demonstrate how to configure ArcGIS Enterprise for single sign-on with ArcGIS Online.

Hands-on exercises will give you the experience needed to efficiently work with ArcGIS Pro.

Migrating from ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro
ArcGIS Pro helps GIS professionals complete their projects and share their results more quickly and easily than ever before. With its modern interface and integrated 2D and 3D capabilities, ArcGIS Pro will streamline the way you do your GIS work. This course introduces the essential ArcGIS Pro terminology you need to understand and prepares you to be productive right away. You will learn how to efficiently complete a variety of tasks related to mapping, editing, analyzing and sharing data, maps and other geospatial resources.

Optimizing GIS Workflows with Tasks in ArcGIS Pro
ArcGIS Pro tasks are sets of preconfigured steps that interactively guide users through specific workflows. All types of workflows, from the simple to the complex, can be made into a task. GIS users of all experience levels can use that task to complete the workflow easily and repeat when necessary. In this course, you will use a task created for you, learn how to design and create your own tasks, share a task for others to use and discover best practices to simplify and optimize your GIS workflows with tasks.
