Season 3 | Episode 8: Management Perspectives: How to bridge the digital divide
How Infrastructure Ontario made its own success by rewriting the rules
Amar Singh, executive vice president of Infrastructure Ontario’s (IO’s) Commercial Advisory and Strategy practice, talks about the strategy behind increasing Internet access in Ontario’s rural and remote communities.
By streamlining processes, using innovative procurement solutions and using geospatial tools like IO’s Broadband One Window, IO has successfully helped Internet service providers, the electricity sector and municipalities work together. It’s all with the aim of improving broadband service in communities all over the province.
