Mark shares some love for the Analysis widget in ArcGIS Experience Builder. This new widget adds analysis tools to your apps where you can access dozens of built-in tools or execute your own custom geoprocessing tools.

Esri has recently released a whole bunch of new updates to our technology.  To bring you up-to-date with all the new features and enhancements in ArcGIS, we have invited all of our GeoGeeks to tell you three things you should know about their technology of interest. 

What’s New in ArcGIS Online [7:05]  

Carson Smulders returns to give us his three noteworthy additions from the latest update of ArcGIS Online (released in October 2023). 

  1. Feature-to-feature editing is now supported in the Map Viewer using a feature layer containing two or more related features.  This is in addition to feature-to-table editing introduced in the June 2023 release. 

  1. Contains operator when configuring category selectors in ArcGIS Dashboards 

  1. Administrators can now enforce multifactor authentication across their organizations

What’s New in the ArcGIS Field Apps [15:59]  

Up next is Sue Enyedy who gives us the scoop on what’s new in ArcGIS Field Maps (released in October 2023), ArcGIS Survey123 (released in November 2023), and ArcGIS QuickCapture (released in November 2023). 

  1. New enhancements in adding geofences in ArcGIS Field Maps, including filtering and Arcade expressions 

  1. Dynamic lists for multiple choice questions are now supported in the ArcGIS Survey123 web designer 

  1. Capturing videos and photos as attachments in ArcGIS QuickCapture

What’s New in ArcGIS Enterprise [21:49]  

Michelle Brake keeps the good times rolling as she reveals her list of notable enhancements in ArcGIS Enterprise 11.2 (released in November 2023).  

  1. You can now manage map services and features services within the ArcGIS Enterprise Portal through the item details page 

  1. New metadata editor as a beta feature in ArcGIS Enterprise 11.2 

  1. The ArcGIS Advanced Editing user type extension is a new license that enables advanced data editing and geodatabase capabilities
