Smart Communities Engage the Public
May 17, 1 – 2 pm (ET)
Municipalities have been delivering foundational services their communities depend on for generations. In many cases, however, although information about services and programs are available, they are not easily accessible. Both Maple Ridge and Brampton exemplify the best of open government by working in collaboration with multiple city departments, focusing on their community’s needs to develop comprehensive open data portals that are tightly integrated with other city systems. We will look at the guiding principles that ensured success for both organizations. Then we will conclude with key learning and recommendations on approaches to become a smart community by engaging the public.

Building Cross-Platform Native Apps with AppStudio for ArcGIS (The Basics)
May 24, 1 – 2 pm (ET)
AppStudio for ArcGIS allows you to build native apps fast. Native apps give the best user experience, run beautifully when disconnected from the network and can be published into the Google Play and Apple app stores. In this session, we will show you how to deploy your maps inside a native app – beginning in ArcGIS Desktop and ending in a public app store. Attendees will learn how to configure out-of-the-box templates with easy-to-use wizards, as well as how to extend the templates with QML and JavaScript code.

Leveraging Spatial Analytics to Help Utilities Make Better Decisions
May 31, 1 – 2 pm (ET)
The opportunities at utilities to support information-driven decision-making and analytics are significant. Location enablement and enhanced analytics via geospatial technologies has begun to be recognized as a critical element to fully understanding what’s being done, where, when and, most importantly, why. This session will explore the various ways you can use the analytic capabilities of ArcGIS to support better decision-making in many areas of your business, including asset management, storm planning/hardening and customer-centric engagement, among others.

There’s a Configurable App for That!
June 21, 1 – 2 pm (ET)
Configurable apps are the fastest and easiest way to go from a map to a shareable app that effectively communicates and shares your stories. Esri has many configurable apps available to meet your needs with no coding required. In this webinar, we will show you the different apps available in the ArcGIS platform. Attendees will learn how to share a web map as a configurable app and how to modify the app to reflect your brand, purpose and audience.
