Ongoing maintenance is the key to optimal performance. With that in mind, here’s a list of the most recent announcements, service packs and patches for ArcGIS. Remember: software must be current on service packs to implement patches and fixes.

ArcGIS 10.2.1 Workflow Manager for Desktop Patch to Support the Turkish Language Pack
This patch contains a fix to support the Turkish OS with the Turkish language pack installed. A license error can occur when the Workflow Manager extension is checked on when the Turkish Language Pack is installed on a Turkish language OS (even though a license is available).

ArcGIS 10.2.1 for (Desktop, Engine, Server) Set Shapefile Default Code Page Patch
This patch allows user sites to modify the default code page used in shapefiles to meet specific needs. At 10.2.1 the default code page was set to UTF-8 to be consistent with industry standards.

ArcSDE 10.2.1 Optimization Patch
This patch addresses many important geodatabase optimizations and fixes related to ArcSDE 10.2.1

ArcGIS 10.2.1 for (Desktop, Engine, Server) Optimization Patch
This patch addresses many important geodatabase optimizations and fixes related to ArcGIS 10.2.1 for (Desktop, Engine, Server).

ArcGIS 10.2 - 10.2.2 for Server OpenSSL (Heartbleed) Patch
This patch addresses an exploitable vulnerability caused by an OpenSSL defect commonly called Heartbleed. We strongly recommend customers using ArcGIS for Server on Linux at versions 10.2, 10.2.1, and 10.2.2 install this patch.

ArcSDE 10.2.2 Oracle Geodatabase Object Schema Update and Editing Patch
This patch resolves a critical issue affecting ArcSDE 10.2.2 that prevents users from creating new feature classes or modifying their existing schema on Oracle geodatabases that existed at 10.0 at some point. This includes Oracle geodatabases that were upgraded from a previous release to ArcGIS 10.0, or Oracle geodatabases created with the ArcGIS 10.0 release.

ArcGIS 10.2.2 for (Desktop/Engine/Server) Oracle Geodatabase Object Schema Update and Editing Patch
This patch resolves a critical issue affecting ArcGIS 10.2.2 for (Desktop/Engine/Server) that prevents users from creating new feature classes or modifying their existing schema on Oracle geodatabases that existed at 10.0 at some point. This includes Oracle geodatabases that were upgraded from a previous release to ArcGIS 10.0, or Oracle geodatabases created with the ArcGIS 10.0 release.

ArcGIS 10.1 SP1 QIP for Desktop Print Dialog Hang Patch
This patch addresses issues some users experienced in ArcGIS 10.1 SP1 QIP for Desktop with certain printers, drivers and user profiles, wherein the first print of the day from ArcMap causes the application to stop responding.
