Important Notice: Living Atlas items are moving!

Esri Canada Living Atlas items are migrating to a new ArcGIS Online account. See what items are migrating and what you need to update in your workflows.

Esri Canada is continually looking for ways to improve the user experience and deliver ready-to-use authoritative content for our Canadian customers within the Living Atlas. To help users more easily find our curated content Esri Canada is consolidating Living Atlas items managed by Esri Canada into a single ArcGIS Online account.

Migrated items will have a replacement item created on our EsriCanadaContent ArcGIS Online account. Current migrated items will enter Mature Support. Items in Mature Support are no longer updated; however, they will continue to be available so that users have ample time to transition to the replacement item. All migrated items will eventually be removed (Retired) from ArcGIS Online.

If you are using any of the items listed below within your maps, apps or workflows, please transition to the replacement item to ensure you are working with the best available data. To make this process as easy as possible we have created a blog that provides step-by-step instructions for updating to the replacement layer. These steps ensure your filters, symbology and any other configurations you may have implemented are maintained

The following table provides a list of high priority items for migration, important migration dates and links to replacement items. This table will be updated monthly to include additional migrating items. We encourage you to bookmark this blog for future reference.

Thank you for your help and cooperation during this transition process. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to our Living Atlas team (livingatlascurator@esri.ca).
