Discover the new Esri Canada Learning Pathways

ArcGIS learning resources are plentiful. But where do you start? Which ones will help you achieve your goals most efficiently? If you’ve ever found yourself asking these questions, we’ve created a new resource for you: the new Esri Canada Learning Pathways. On this new site, we’ve collected resources that suit various learning styles, organized them by topic of interest and added details to guide your choices. Read this blog post to learn more about this new resource.

You have goals for your training, your career and possibly for your staff members, but maybe you’re not sure where to start with the wealth of training resources available through Esri and Esri Canada. That’s why we’ve built Learning Pathways, a new site that makes it easier to find training resources that sharpen specific skills.

Whether you’re new to ArcGIS or a seasoned user in charge of maintaining an enterprise system, you’ll find something on Learning Pathways that will take you to the next level.

Where can I find the Learning Pathways site?

There are a couple of ways to find the Learning Pathways site:

Add the following link to your bookmarks: Esri Canada Learning Pathways
Navigate to Esri Canada’s main website, go to “Support & Services” in the main menu and choose “Training”. You’ll find “Learning Pathways” among the options in the dark grey menu along the top.
From the same Training page, scroll partway down the page until you reach “Find the right path for you” on the right side of the screen. Then click “Tour Learning Pathways”.

How should I use the Learning Pathways site?

Get started on the home page by choosing your topic of interest either from the main menu on top of the page or by scrolling down to the categories and sub-categories below.

Once you navigate to the category of your choice, explore the different sections to find the relevant Learning Pathway for you.

Each Pathway includes learning resources of various types that typically complement one another.

If you’re looking to learn as much as possible on a topic, explore each item in the relevant Pathway and start planning your learning journey.

However, if you’re looking for a specific skill or to fill a gap in your skill set, you have the option of choosing only the most relevant items in the corresponding Pathway.
