The Community Map of Canada vector tile basemap is updated daily with the latest updates supplied by contributors to the Community Maps Program via the GeoFoundation Exchange (GFX). Find out how you can access it from your basemap picker. 

Tracker for ArcGIS released!

We are excited to announce the release of Tracker for ArcGIS, a new app to help you monitor the real-time location of your most valued assets­–your mobile workers. It is now available for use with ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7.

Esri is introducing the user type licensing model at ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7. With user types, you can match your organization’s workflows and license users as any one of the five general-purpose types: Viewers, Data Editors, Field Workers, Creators and GIS Professionals.

Hot tip: How to create and use elevation layers in ArcGIS Online & ArcGIS Pro

Elevation layers are composed of data coming from LIDAR, photogrammetry, spot or contour sources can help with 3D visualizations. Hosted elevation layers in ArcGIS Online can be leveraged along with Esri-provided world elevation layers and can be used across the platform in applications such as Scene Viewer, in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Earth.
