Creating Real-time Web Applications Using Stream Services
Stream services are a new type of service available with ArcGIS for Server 10.3. They use WebSocket technology to allow you to create low-latency, real-time spatial data feeds. In this tutorial, you will learn how to poll an external API for real-time data in JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), and then publish those data with a stream service using the ArcGIS GeoEvent Extension for Server. You will use the stream service to visualize data in an ArcGIS Online Web map and an ArcGIS API for JavaScript Web application.

Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS (Developer Edition)
Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS facilitates the creation of customizable, GIS-based Web mapping applications without the need to write code. The Developer Edition is a downloadable version of the basic Web AppBuilder that allows custom widgets and themes to be added to the interface. This tutorial outlines how to install Web AppBuilder and create a custom widget for viewing air quality across Canada. Developing themes and deploying your Web AppBuilder creations are also discussed.
Working with GeoEvent Filters and Processors
The ArcGIS GeoEvent Extension for Server allows you to process real-time spatial data feeds. You can use the GeoEvent Extension to perform many different operations on live event data before they are outputted to a specified destination (e.g., a feature service, a text file). In this tutorial, you will learn how to configure GeoEvent Services that utilize processors to perform operations on event attributes and geometries. You will also learn how to use filters and GeoFences to filter events based on their attributes or spatial relationships to other geometries.
