Celebrate International Women’s Day with Maps

International Women’s Day is almost here! Let’s celebrate this special day with ArcGIS web maps and story maps that highlight the contributions of Canadian women and the challenges of living in a world that is not equal for both genders.

March 8th marks International Women’s Day. It’s a time to celebrate and reflect on the contributions of women and discuss their struggle towards gender equality.

In honour of this day, we have put together a list of story maps and web maps to encourage students to think about what it means to have a world that is truly equal for both genders and what actions are needed to contribute to this vision.
