Publish Hosted Imagery Layers to ArcGIS Online

Hosted imagery layers can be used to manage, share and analyze imagery & raster data in your ArcGIS Online organization. This video shows how users can easily publish a hosted imagery layer in ArcGIS Online by using the Create imagery layers window. To create hosted imagery layers, users must have a Creator, Professional or Professional Plus user type, as well as assigned privileges to publish imagery and create content. Hosted imagery layers are different from raster tile layers. Raster tile layers only support visualization of imagery and raster data. Whereas, hosted imagery layers allow access to the imagery / raster data, including the pixel values across multiple bands.
