Located 45km southeast of Winnipeg in Manitoba, the town of Niverville is the fastest growing community in the southeast part of the province, boasting a population growth rate of 30.2% as recorded in the 2016 Census. To assist town council and provincial planners with visualizing this rapid development, a semi-transparent zoning by-law and white registered survey layers were placed over Esri’s world imagery dataset. As survey plan and block polygon boundaries partially overlap, the block boundaries on this map were innovatively dashed and recessed to enhance the map user’s ability to accurately determine a given parcel’s registered survey description.
