What are the common practices that these organizations excel at that correspond to better business outcomes? Advanced organizations, it turns out, demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in 14 practice areas spanning five organizational domains. Each practice correlates significantly with improved business outcomes, indicating that these practices are "essential" to geospatial success.
