Symbolizing Maps with Arcade and Vector Basemaps

February 15, 2018 - There are exciting new ways to symbolize your maps in ArcGIS: Arcade and vector basemaps. Arcade is a lightweight expression language designed for symbolizing and labelling across the ArcGIS platform. Vector tile layers are a high-resolution and customizable way to create multiscale vector basemaps to efficiently display your base data. In this session, we will examine how you can use simple Arcade scripts to control how features are rendered and to control label text in ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Pro. We will also demonstrate how you can customize existing Esri vector basemaps for your specific mapping needs.
