The Sustainable Forest Development Act provides for public input on integrated forest management and guidelines for the management  and development of forests. This map was produced to enable the public to express its opinions on the development and management of forests. It was used by the Ministère des Forêts, de la Faune et des Parcs to gather new ideas in order to better align its policies and objectives with the values and needs of the population, in the general interest of Québecers.
