The Prince Edward Island Provincial Road Atlas is a 108-page document of map and index sheets prepared by the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal using ArcGIS software and provincial GIS data. The atlas is used within the department to show road network information, such as road class, surface type, directionality, route sectioning and identification numbering. Other transportation data, such as bridge structures and the Confederation Trail, are also depicted. Dynamic text and data-driven pages were key features in the design and efficient production of the atlas.
