This map shows the British Columbia Ministry of Environment regional office and staff locations. The Ministry is responsible for the effective protection, management and conservation of B.C.’s water, land, air and living resources. The map also depicts the related air quality and water monitoring locations as well as Regional District boundaries. The branch offices and air quality monitoring locations are clustered in the Victoria, Greater Vancouver and Prince George areas. Improved capabilities in Maplex for ArcGIS were leveraged to reduce the time spent placing individual feature labels.
