This Ottawa-area map was developed by Environics Analytics to help an outdoor media company understand where their target population lives and works. To achieve this, Environics Analytics leveraged its PRIZM C2 segmentation system and daytime population estimate of workplace population. This information was overlaid with a population-weighted traffic network to show which roads were most frequented by the target population. This map helped outdoor media planners place their advertisements in locations to achieve the greatest potential impact on commuters in Ottawa.
