This map of the City of Hamilton has a sentimental origin. It was created as a gift for the designer’s fiancée when moving to her hometown. While creating it, the designer also learned their new geography. It hangs in their home now as a reminder of their time there. The somewhat unusual colour palette for a reference map started with her favourite colour—teal—and the rest were chosen to complement it.  Who says geographers aren’t romantic?
