Existing land use is a record of all current and observed land uses within the bounds of the City of Mississauga and is updated annually. Existing land use differs from our Official Plan designated land use and zoning as existing land use is defined by what is observed on a site during a site check. Data collection is conducted through a process that includes checking building permits, the Mississauga Official Plan designation conformity, zoning, development applications, changes of use and demolitions and performing site checks.
