Government Service Catalog, the team gained access to a collection of layers that could be used to publish feature layers in their ArcGIS organization and deploy a series of ArcGIS for Local Government solutions. They made modifications to the data model to meet the City's specific needs, such as including asset details, inspection and maintenance information, Pavement Distress Index, incident/observation reporting, transit details and more. What makes Esri technology more effective when it comes to managing roads and highways? It's the linear referencing system. Esri Roads and Highways is based on an advanced linear referencing system (ALRS) method, which uses positions and locations to reference assets along a route. Locations are relative to the length of the route and may change positionally when the route changes, whereas positions are discrete points on the ground and have no direct relationship to a route.
