ArcGIS Maps for Office ArcGIS Maps for Office integrates the power of the ArcGIS mapping platform into Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, making it easy for you to create and analyze data in an environment you're already familiar with. All you need is an Excel spreadsheet and an ArcGIS subscription to quickly and easily start making your own maps. Maps for Office gives your entire agency a secure way to access, publish and share maps and data. Esri Story Maps With Esri Story Maps, you can highlight community policing efforts, share information about ongoing crime trends and enlist the public's help in solving a case. Easily combine maps, photos, text and other media into a single interactive application. With story maps, you can: • Build the chronological story of a case to assemble evidence • Put together a preincident briefing plan • Manage area maps for a CompStat- style briefing • Share crime trends and community policing initiatives with the public Esri Community Analyst Improve your administrative and strategic analysis capabilities with over three-thousand demographic variables at the neighbourhood level (Dissemination Area). With Community Analyst, you will gain a better understanding of the community you serve with the ability to: • Access to thousands of the Environics Analytics demographic and Prizm5 segmentation data for neighbourhood profiling • Find areas with the greatest need through easy to generate suitability analysis • Plan sensibly by recognizing trends using past data and future projections with data provided for current year, 3, 5± and 10 years • Support grant writing with access to detailed community data at the Dissemination Area • Create customized comparison reports leveraging both demographics and your own data in a blended analysis • Communicate policy decisions with demographics and reports customized to your location • Reach the public by publishing custom infographic reports and maps on your website CommunityHealth CommunityHealth from Environics Analytics takes the Statistics Canada's Canadian Community Health Survey (CCHS) results and provides agencies with 716 variables to better understand Canadians based on health-related topics, including mental health, alcohol use and health care utilization. Municipal and public safety departments along with public and private partners, can use CommunityHealth to help identify high- priority locations to focus campaigns and program efforts in addressing specific community needs. The data was collected from 124,929 respondents, aged 12 and older, from households across all provinces and territories.
