Esri Business Analyst for Desktop (Canadian Edition) extends and integrates the robust GIS functionality in ArcGIS for Desktop, Esri's flagship technology, with extensive data from top Canadian data providers. Now, you can perform your business analyses with the best geographic marketing analysis tools at your fingertips. Esri Business Analyst for Desktop (Canadian Edition) includes the following datasets: Census Plus Dataset - Based on the 2011 Canadian Census and National Household Survey, Environics Analytics, Canada's premier marketing and analytical services company, extends and adjusts the census data released by Statistics Canada to accommodate for random rounding and data suppression. Business Listings Dataset - This database from Infogroup represents the most accurate and up-to-date database of Canadian businesses. This proprietary, copyrighted database contains information on approximately 1.3 million Canadian businesses. Data is compiled from more than 300 yellow page telephone directories and new business listings from public record notices. The database undergoes an annual, complete verification process conducted by telephone. The database provides customers with the ability to obtain non-mailable lists of businesses by trade area based on industry class (SIC), employee counts and sales volume. DemoStats and Household Spend Datasets - Provided by Environics Analytics, there are more than 2,800 demographic variables available. These include updates for the current year, historic and future projections. These variables are augmented by 2011 Census of Canada data figures, and are aggregated at the province, census division, census subdivision, census metropolitan area, census tract, federal electoral district, postal forward sortation area (FSA) and dissemination area (DA) levels. Segmentation Clustering Dataset - Environics Analytics' customer profiling system, PRIZM5, classifies Canadian neighbourhoods into 68 distinct market segments based on the most important drivers of consumer behaviour: demographics, lifestyles and values. PRIZM5 data is aggregated at the census tract (CT) and dissemination area (DA) levels. Canadian Shopping Centre Listings Dataset – The Canadian Directory of Shopping Centres, compiled by Rogers Publishing and provided by Environics Analytics, offers a national file of major shopping centres containing information such as centre name, address and intersection, centre type and anchor tenants, year opened, total store count, parking spaces and gross leasable area (GLA). This database contains the most current and comprehensive shopping centre data available. Canadian Street BaseMap - Canadian street map data compiled from Esri Streetmap Premium (HERE), provides a nationwide basemap for visualization, routing and drive-time analysis. Users also have the option to incorporate their own maps and maps available through Esri's ArcGIS Online. Leading Technology & Canadian Data In One Comprehensive Package
