How can I use the Community Map of Canada? When creating maps or building applications, you need a basemap to provide visual context to your area of interest. The Community Map of Canada offers you a rich basemap to start with. As an ArcGIS user, you can easily start by opening a new project or map in your ArcGIS environment, navigate to the Basemap Gallery and select one of the Community Map of Canada styles branded with a red half maple leaf. There are six standard styles to choose from. Select the style that best helps you drive forward your message and fits your need. You can further leverage the Community Map of Canada in an offline environment when working in the field, with or without access to the internet. esri.ca/communitymaps © 2024 Esri Canada Limited.
