Maricopa County Leads in the Development of Geographic-Assisted Mass Appraisal Maricopa County in Arizona is the 4 th most populous jurisdiction in the United States. In 2017, the County Assessor's office began scouting for an innovative assessment solution that would help them create more efficiencies, stay competitive and foster a better work culture. A leader in the adoption of GIS within their operations, it was oen le wanting with the use of its CAMA system. The County sought to bring together the best of both standalone systems (CAMA and GIS) into one rich platform. The vision was to use a Geographic-Assisted Mass Appraisal platform to increase data integrity and uniformity (accuracy) while ensuring the ability to produce high quality and defensible valuations. In Maricopa County, Arizona, the Assessor's Office has partnered with Esri Canada for several years on strategic initiatives that have improved the quality of our data and the productivity of our employees. We're developing the next-generation Geographic-Assisted Mass Appraisal solution that will allow us to enhance both employee and constituent experiences while keeping our office more transparently engaged with other government entities.
